Remedia and the magic of recycling: the show that enchanted adults and children

Great success for “The magic of recycling” project by Remedia which, from March, in cooperation with Aires and Unieuro took the travelling show across Italy to show people the advantages and benefits of collecting and recycling WEEE.

The project, winner of the “SNSVS1 Call - Sustainable Captain and small WEEE, No. NP 16of the Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea Protection, confirms Remedia’s long-term commitment in raising awareness among children and their families on the collection and recycling of e-waste, especially small WEEE.

60 days, 2 strong partners like Aires and Unieuro, 20 points of sale involved.

The initiative, designed for meeting consumers across the country, touched many regions from North to South Italy: Lombardy, then Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, Lazio, Puglia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Sicily, Liguria, Abruzzi, Tuscany, Umbria and Veneto. People everywhere have shown great interest in the show and the subject, stopping their shopping round to gather, amused and curious, to admire the feats of the magician Alex on topics related to WEEE recycling.

Rome, San Giuliano Milanese, Udine and Parma are the stages that stood out most for the participation and involvement of consumers who immediately took the opportunity of putting into practice the teachings of the magician Alex by taking advantage of the one-for-one take-back service and thus delivering their small WEEE at Unieuro sales points.

About 150,000 participants throughout Italy, over 50 web press coverages and more than a million and a half people reached by the social campaign.
